When Pay Transparency = a lack of clarity!
With the Pay Transparency deadline fast approaching, organisations are under increasing pressure to ensure they are ready — not just from a compliance perspective, but from a reputational, operational, and cultural one. Achieving this is increasingly challenging considering the progress (or lack of) being made by governments in confirming their local laws and the increasing number delay and postponement notices! All of which, combines to mean that the regulatory landscape across the EU is one of confusion and chaos! Regardless of the state of the regulations, Pay Transparency represents a landmark shift in how organisations manage and share sensitive data. Comparisons have been made to the introduction of GDPR, but is that comparison accurate — or does this go even further?
In this session, Stuart Hyland will cut through the chaos and focus on what payroll, HR, and reward teams really need to have in place now. From data accuracy and reporting readiness to pay equity analysis, employee communications, and regulatory risk, Stuart will explore where organisations are most exposed — and what happens if you get it wrong.
We’ll also challenge the assumption that this is “just another compliance exercise.” Because unlike GDPR, Pay Transparency has the potential to directly impact employee trust, brand reputation, and internal culture in a far more visible way.
With just weeks to go, this is your opportunity to sense-check your readiness, understand the real consequences of inaction, and ensure you’re not the one caught out.

The Great Payroll Debate
Payroll is changing rapidly, but not everyone agrees on the best way forward. Should payroll own payments? Is AI transforming the profession or creating new risks? Can global payroll ever be truly standardised?
In this interactive and thought-provoking session, payroll leaders and industry experts will debate some of the biggest issues facing the profession today. Expect differing opinions, practical insights, and audience participation as we challenge conventional thinking and explore what the future of payroll could look like.

Building Your Case for Payroll Investment
Payroll leaders know better than anyone that payroll is critical to business continuity, compliance and employee trust, yet it often struggles to secure the investment it needs. The challenge isn’t knowing what needs to change but articulating why it matters in ways that resonate with senior stakeholders.
In this session, Simon will share practical strategies to help you build a compelling case for payroll investment – whether you are seeking new technology, additional capacity or process transformation. Simon will explore how to frame it in terms of risk, value, efficiency and strategic impact, considering how to present your proposal in a way that aligns with broader business priorities.
